Program: Friendly Stars Developmentally Disabled Adults Program
Weekly program conducted by the City of Riverside for developmentally disabled adults.  Program is designed for the participants to interact with peers while being supervised by staff in a safe environment.  There are special events each month and refreshments are served.  Weekly activities include arts n' crafts, bingo, game room, basketball and dancing.

Each month program hosts a special event such as:

August:     Summer Party
September:  Talent Show
October:  Halloween Party
November:  Thanksgiving Feast
December:  Holiday Party

Application Process: 
Registration is held every six months. Please call for details. Registration forms are accepted by mail as well as walk-ins at Villegas Park and Marcy Library (2nd Floor).

Global Citizens Program:
An interactive and fun job and life skills program designed for high school aged youth with special needs. Skills to help you successfully become independent! Meets every Monday and Wednesday 9:00am – 11:00am.

Eagle Soar Playground & Splash Pad Special Needs Social Skills Program (for children and families with special needs)
Join us for social skills fun at the Temecula Special Needs Eagle Soar Playground & Splash Pad! Event will be facilitated by Comprehensive Autism Center and the van Avery Youth activists that have been training through CAC’s Community Cares program for peer modeling and social skills. Therapists welcome and parent participation is required. We look forward to seeing you there!! Registration will be on-site the day of the event.

IRC Orientation – Riverside
IRC welcomes one and all to come to the training to learn more (or refresh what you know) about IRC. During the training, families will hear a brief history of the regional center system and an overview of how case managers provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities. There will be a time for questions at the end should a family have a personal or detailed question for the trainer.

Learn the basics of this important planning meeting which first occurs around your child’s 3rd birthday and involves his/her educational needs.
